I have been tinkering with the idea. I have a DSSD black which I addore, but lately I have been thinking of trading it in for a DSSD blue. The only thing holding me back is the wearability or versatility. With the blue hue on the face, is it harder to match up with clothing? Will it still go well with black clothing as there is a little blue. If you guys have any pics with black shirts or suit jackets that would be great! Thanks

Another opinion

I've owned the black DSSD before, well actually twice now, but when I saw the deep blue I was a little surprised at how subtle it was. From a foot away I don't think anyone would ever see a difference in the slight blue and tiny green lettering. I'm sure you could pair it with any clothing you wore with the regular black DSSD. Go to an AD and put them side by side and see if you can tell from a few feet away.

(Picture attached is of Charlie Rose wearing his DSSD Deep Blue. It seems to work fine with his suit!)

Same here - tried the black dial via my local AD but just too big. Pity - the blue dial looks pretty good!

Actually, my wardrobe is almost all black, with a few grey and dark blue shirts.
The blue and green of the D-Blue only really pops it seems with sunlight. With indoor lighting or in lower light conditions, the blue is really subtle, almost too subtle.

Finally got to see one in person, and compare it to my black. The D Blue is quite special indeed. Of course it was already sold.

Last one...
Hard choice but I think I prefer the black still.
Although for the first time I think this watch will appreciate and become collectible. I have no evidence or proof, just thinking out loud, but it is quite special and comes with a lot of certificates and cool materials from Rolex. Definitely a cool watch, I just can't have them all dammit.
