Hi all,

I'm a resident in Asia, and traveling to Zurich and Oslo mid August. Was wondering for the forum wisdom on where to buy the Rolex GMT (either Black or BLNR) stainless steel?

I should get the tax waived in both location, but as my itinerary is Asia > ZUR > OSL > Asia, so I think buying in Oslo will make more sense. Any recommendations on dealers?

Also looking for a 2nd hand Red/Black version, ideally from 2001-2005 vintage.

116710 is actually 8000chf in Zurich with 8% vat included and 67000nok in Olso with 25% vat included .
In US dollar it's equvalent to 8152$ in Oslo and 8322$ in Zurich. If you can avoid VAT , 8% in switzerland vs 25% in Norway, the result is obvious.

Same for 116710Blnr at 72100nok vs 8500chf (8772$ vs 8842$) .

Yes, Oslo would make more sense - apart from the price, more reading also revealed that VAT refund might not be possible in Zurich (as I will be traveling to Oslo, and not Asia from there).

Any recommendations on ADs with good availability and discount in Oslo? Thanks!

Edit: PS, is there a place I can find the published price of Rolex watches in different countries? That'll be helpful in future too. Thanks.

zuerich.airport@bucherer.com is the email for the boutique at the airport. The best selection and stock I've seen anywhere. Tried it on along with the Rosegold Oysterflex Yachtmaster a couple of weeks go.

Agreed, and I won't expect discount from the AD at all. I'll be happy to have the watch in stock + VAT refund.

Ideally, I will like to reserve so that there is no stock issue when I'm there, but I don't have any relationship with them, and I don't think just calling them would work.
