Meanwhile some snapshot of the 35-01
Awesome shot

Where was the 50 please Jerry? Assume it was the NTPT Lotus version?

It's not in great shape to be honest, with several scratches, but nothing too serious. There isn't a trade to be done (he offered me some really silly prices), so he has asked me for my cash offer.........I have some thinking to do. He also has an awesome Greubel Forsey in - pricing on this one is even more difficult to determine, but I just love GF. Sorry for the lack of wrist shot on the latter, here is a library picture of the current version of it (some detail changes but broadly the same).

OMG, Wow - that 008 looks amazing. I guessed around 350 USD would be the sort of price range for a piece of this magnitude so if there where a buy back option later on down the line that would definitely get some serious thought.
GF make some serious watches but that one isn't a particular favourite of mine - much prefer the GMT Tourbs with the globe on the dial - still that said the 008 gets my vote.
Good luck deciding which way to go Roger😄

It was at Pacific Place Richard Mille boutique, they had many other interesting pieces available, yes it is the 50-01 NTPT Lotus version, it looks amazing!

I had very high expectations for 004 but after seeing it and trying it on, it just feel too small, in my opinion, with Richard Mille you really need to go with larger case!

Thanks Jerry, appreciate the information. Considering how many pieces I have bought from them, they make zero effort to contact me when they get interesting things in! RM008 is the same size as the 004 - a little smaller than an 11, but I thought the size still worked well. Having tried on an RM002v2 yesterday, that model really is too small.

The 2 is 45mm so smaller than the 10 which is 48mm. The 10 is about the same as the 8. The 11 is bigger again.

45 is too small for me.

The great and horrible thing about this brand is the variety of selection. Trying to narrow down a choice is almost impossible. Just when I think I'm ready to move, I stumble across some new iteration or edition. I really think it's going to come down to a coin flip or dart throw.

So impatient fellas! The watch is being shipped to me, so I only have some quick snaps from the AD and will do better tomorrow, but this fella is very, very photogenic, so here you go. I believe it's the first of its kind on the board. Had some stiff competition from the Nadal and the RM11 Ivory, but I'm very, very happy with my final choice:

Congrats!

I really don't recommend wearing that strap along with the watch as they tend to scratch them badly on the sides specially yours is gold..

Thanks guys and yes, that was just a staged shot. Definitely won't be wearing anything that could scratch my baby. The watch has been delivered and should be back on my wrist this evening. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about anything. Not sure what to make of that, but it is what it is!
