Hello from SoCal - couple of questions

I have a couple of Omega Seamasters, a gold vintage accutron, and a gold vintage hamilton and am about to take the leap into the Rolex family and would like to know if anyone can recommend a reputable dealer of pre-owned.

I am torn between the TT GMT II and TT Blue Sub. Also, is there anything that I should look out for - like bad year, etc.. Budget is capped at $5,200

Anyone buy on ebay? Seems a little risky to me.

Thanks in advance...

Hello and welcome... The only 'gray' dealer I know of is essential-watches.com of Beverly Hills. If you're more towards SF, they may be an unreasonable option. There is a service center in SF. Perhaps you could get a 'steer' from them. EBay is risky... unless you can spot a fake, I'd be wary. Long standing, lots of sales and great feedback may be good indicators but there's always some risk. Look for sellers w/a brick&morter presence, guarantee of authenticity and return period. Here's the SF contact info:

Hi and welcome! I know it can be trying to find a good seller. However, I recommend an eBayer with user id of "buckojoe". I purchased a 2 tone Sub from him some time back. He is a STAND-UP seller, and ALL his items are Genuine and he stands behind them-GREAT seller.

I have included a link to his listings for you to consider:

Hope this helps!!!

Sincerely, Stan.
