My First Rolex
I did a lot of research and finally settled on a 116234 Black Roman Dial.
Here was my thought process before purchasing the watch: 1)Dress or sports watch. Since I work in a casino, I have to wear a dress shirt and tie, so the dress watch is definitely the best option for me. 2)Glidelock clasp or hidden clasp. The hidden clasp was definitely the best option since it looks so sexy and the jubilee is pretty much Rolex's trademark for dress watches. 3)Fluted bezel or smooth bezel. If I want one thing that made the watch look flashy, it's going to be the 18k whited gold fluted bezel. 4)The Dial. This was a tough choice, but it was also the least important to me. I am glad I went with a black dial with roman numerals. Here are some pictures of the beautiful timepiece. Thanks again to Ponycar350 aka Jared for an awesome watch. |
