Reported it for being too good to be true.

Guys, gotta have proof before you call it a fake.
"The price is too low" is not a proof.
In this case, it does look like a fake - the crown is wrong for a start.
Reported.

I saw one just like that at my AD last night, it was beautiful, but it was 18k white gold, so it was around $25k.

Did they make that model in SS? The AD made it sound like it was an 18k model, but I may be wrong.

I emailed him for the serial number and asked if he would mind going to an AD to have it authenticated with my "friend" who lives in Aust.

This dial/hand combo is only available on WG factory configurations I think.

I am pretty sure that is correct, but in the written description he does not mention it being 18k, but in the box above the description it states SS, so if I had to guess I would say this is a fake

You'll find the crown to be the dead giveaway that it's a fake... No need to argue about SS or WG.

Can you educate me here some, what exactly did you see in the crown that points to a fake?

It is the White Gold model if it was to be believed. It is not to be believed and it was reported. I don't have much pull in Australia so it has to be reported more than once and by more than one of us.

Daytona

It was removed the first time as the "listing was in violation of eBay's Charity policy" I don't know why it was removed the second time.

I will keep my eye out for seller "domlim2002"
