Need Some Help - Ref # and Ser # of AirKing
Can someone give me some direction with a question about a Rolex Air King?
The Rolex Booklet serial # starts with a Y, but the Ref# is 114200. I was under the impression that the Y serial numbers were from around 2002. However, an article read recently stated the Ref # 114200 was introduced in 2007. I am a bit confused and appreciate any comments. Thanks! http://www.rolexforums.com/attachmen...1&d=1441485721 |

That is not a Y serial number. It's a random serial number that just happens to start with a Y. If it were a Y it would be Y with 6 numbers after the Y.
The one in your photo shows Y with 7 numbers making it a random serial number.
