That's a bummer...

I was pretty stocked on this one. Especially since it was a "Full set" with boxes and papers...
Welp, with a fugazi case I guess that doesn't mean much...
The papers look legit though. So I guess this case was "Tailor made" to match the serial on the papers...

It is a private seller.

Not a dealer

While it was a "full set" the hang tags were incorret, the box was incorrect and possibly the Oyster Booklet - depending on the date.

I've seen many sets for sale lately with incorrect boxes and/or accessories.

Many issues with this watch and set.

This watch was for sale on eBay last week. The seller of the watch disclosed that he thought the case was aftermarket. I am not sure what the author of this post is trying to accomplish here. Seems to be post purchase analysis. Best of luck with your return on this one. The photos on ebay clearly showed the case was fake. The seller disclosed that he thought the case was fake. The author of this post should have come here earlier to determine if he was about to get lucky or not. Seems too late now.

Checking out the seller's history on eBay reveals another watch with an "aftermarket" case and dial.
