Now to share with you all .. "Why minute repeater was invented in the very first place?" Back in the days when there isn't any electricity, ppl are using candles and matches... Hence to tell the time is a real pain having to light a candle or a match.. The minute repeater chime so the wearer knows the time just by listening. I appreciate the minute repeater movement much more after knowing the history behind this invention. I always thought this was just a novelty "for the fun of it" "the cool factor" now I look at the MP differently, with lots of respect! HAGWE! .. Jen
