My watch issue resolved...

Got a call from ECT and was told the watch has been running flawlessly since they got it... Of course I was baffled cuz it was NOT working for me.

Serg told me to give it a good winding, which I did, and still nada... Idk what happened, but it's back and running spot on as it was before the stoppage.

Any thoughts on this? I'm NOT losing my mind, it did stop, and wouldn't start back up.

Isn't it always that way though? You go to the doctor because your shoulder clicks then suddenly it stops clicking? Hopefully, it's resolved though. It's a stunning watch and one of my favorites.

sent away a leica m6 camera for repair… it was killing the battery in 1 to two weeks, i went through 4 batteries and finally sent it in for service…i got it back 6 weeks later and the receipt said there was no problem, the next battery i placed in it (identical to the 4 before) lasted 2 years.

its a mystery, maybe they just don't like to admit the defect?

It's only a few grams more than the RG you're interested in.

Would it be possible that when you "thought" you were winding it, the crown was somewhat not in the proper position, or somehow the gears were not engaged, and as a result it was really not winding the entire time?

Anyway, that is a beauty of a watch. Enjoy!

Thanks Sam... I guess that's possible, and NOT to be a smart a$$, cuz I appreciate the thought, but I'd like to think I know how to wind a watch. Maybe the gears weren't engaging as mentioned. I did try to wind it a few times.

Besides that, I do wear the watch daily, and wouldn't think it'd stop anyways.

Maybe you're not strong enough to wind properly? Stop focusing on the glam muscles and work those fingers.

Hey Mike, it's a tough case to crack, definitely a headscratcher

Maybe a paranormal activity?
