Is AP planning on making the 15305or in a 41mm case ?

I have been eyeing the 15305or as my first major watch purchase, however i was told by someone that AP is planning on making this same watch in a 41mm. Is this true ? if so when are they planning on releasing it?

Yes. I'd assume for Basel.

Interesting I had not heard this before. Wonder if they will do a steel on bracelet as well? No matter to me as I prefer the 39 size on the RO. Just curious.

Didn't hear it, but I guess they would call it the 15405 then.

The 41mm skeleton has actually been done already on this LE. LOVE the ti case and cermet bezel!!!

I actually prefer the size of the 41mm RO over the 39mm but I feel the proportions of the skeletonized movement fits the 39mm case better. The extra size of the inner ring makes the movement look too small in my opinion.

That's a beauty Jim Thx for sharing. If they would have done it on a full ti bracelet

I might be wrong but it looks to me like the same movement as the 39mm 15305 but in a larger 41mm case with a thicker bezel.

It's the same movement but the ring around the movement with the hour marks looks larger. Also notice the spacing on the ring above and below "Audemars Piguet" at the 12 o'clock position. The bezel might be slightly larger on the 41mm as well. I love the 41mm size but I think the size/spacing of the movement looks better in the 39mm. Hopefully they upsize the movement like they did on the new 41mm perp calendars. If they make a 41mm RO skeleton in Ti on bracelet then AP can just take my $$$$$ now.

Is the 39mm going to remain in production along side the 41mm?

Unless they start producing lots more 39mm I don't feel that prices will soften too much. It's not one of the more common APs around. If they stop production then I would assume prices may rise. Many seem to prefer the size and proportions of the 15300 vs the 15400. I'm a bigger guy so I actually prefer the 41mm size but I feel proportions of the 3129 movement looks better in the 39mm case as shown above.

Whoah, now that is an absolutely AWESOME watch, absolutely love it, wonder for how much it went, the owner is one lucky dude, it's absolutely STUNNING LOVE THE CERMET BEZEL on this watch, looks perfect IMO

Can't find for what price it was auctioned, but seeing it's a piece unique I guess it went for quite a few $$$$

Would love if either AP did a 15202 with cermet bezel, or if PP did a 5711 or 5167 with the cermet bezel, these models wouldn't be nice with ceramic bezel but cermet is just perfect, it's very discrete and goes perfectly IMO with SS or TI, and adds the almost unscratchable factor which is priceless IMO, I'm sure if they made such a model they would make a killing, 2016 will be the 40th anniversary of the Nautilus, one can only hope, if they make a 5711 with grey dial and cermet bezel guess who will definitely put it as the next watch on my list the 5167 with it's grey dial would also look perfect with the cermet bezel, perfection to my eyes

looks good but i also prefer 39mm for the regular RO

i think ROO is more suited to being "oversized"

then again the regular RO was a sport watch so .........
