116233 case back
Hello I'm a vintage guy but I bought a like new 116233 yesterday (3 years old but still has stickers on it) with box and papers. It was too cheap and nice to pass up. Watch was given to original owner by his company and they engraved the back.
I'd like to get a new case back for it. I called RSC Dallas and they said I can only get one through them during a service. Anybody know if I can go to an ad and have them order one for me? I've already placed a wtb ad here as well. Thanks very much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Normally no need to change the case back, it can be brushed out pretty easy usually.

Great choice! Yes......check on the easier option of having the engraving brushed out.

It can be taken off pretty easily and we have a DIY in the Reference Library. Deeper engraving can be turned down by anybody with a lathe - perhaps a local watchmaker or machinist.
The backs are generic now days and a watchmaker with parts account may be able to order you one.. Or you can do the DIY and then when you send it in for service in a few years have a new one installed.

Agree with those above, see if you can have it taken off by a watchmaker. Congrats on a great looking piece!
