Tudor model numbers

Looks like Tudor are using French to distinguish there model numbers!

Red=Rouge

Blue=Bleu

Black=Noir

Did Tudor ever was affiliated with the French I wonder if this is the case!

Its a Swiss company, based in Geneva, where French is the official language.
