Decided to by a smooth bezel, blue or silver stick dial DJII. Went to AD today to look at both, to see which one struck me. The price, including 5+5 year warranty, was $7100. Is this 1K +/- higher than I can find a new one, in numerous places, around the web? Or my imagination?

$5,800 is the price for a new with box and papers that I see for the smooth bezel DJ II. I would get it from a trusted seller on here and save 2k on the purchase.

Trusted Sellers & USA AD's two different logistical paths for the sake of making an informed purchase decision, just so you know.
Pros & Cons to both. Since its seems your a fairly new member.

A quick search has them in the sales section for starting as low as $5399.00. With Box and papers. Good place to start from. Then you can start saving for the next one.

List price is 7150. Authorized Dealers do not sell "around the web", so if that's where you want to get yours, do it..
