26320ST Water Tolerance?
Hello,
Does anybody wear their 26320 in the shower daily? I'm used to showering with my GMT-IIC and have never had any problems in the past. Also, anybody do very light swimming with theirs in the pool? Just wanted to see what the 26320's water tolerance is. Thanks! |

dont shower with any watch especially your 26320st moisture got into my subc after taking a shower, swimming in the pool is okay but you need to rinse it after your out of the pool and make sure those pushers are in 100%. Or.. just take it off before you do anything water related with an AP..

I keep my watches on 24/7. Includes showers.

The watch is most definitely water resistant. And you shouldn't have any problems.
I don't shower with any of my watches, nor do I really swim with the, either. I us d to never take them off but just got into the habit I'm in now of taking them off. Brass tax - here's my .02...Swimming is fine - but I wouldn't shower with any of mine---when a watch goes from a hot to cold environment--sometimes you can get a fine mist (even inside the crystal) but this should evaporate. If you ever see defined 'droplets' that's bad. So, can you do it sure. Is it problematic? Most of the time no...your call. |

Is it that hard to take off your watch?

You shouldn't have any issues swimming in a pool or in the shower, just make sure the crown and pushers are screwed down. I would draw the line at diving with it but as long as the seals are fine you should be good to go. Also, I have read that the chemicals in soap can dry out the gaskets quicker but not sure how true that is. Best practice is to get it pressure tested once a year and you should be fine. Also, if you see any water under the crystal, that is not good!

The only reason I don't shower with my RO or my Sub is soap gunk. I have gone swimming in a pool with my RO and it was fine. Just rinse it off after with water and a soft cloth.
