The price is not as important as whom you are buying from.. Is this a grey dealer, individual, or an AD? Just be careful is all

You could get lower on TRF but seems okay for an AD. But if we're talking euros, then the price is way too high.

Welcome

Sounds like a decent price for BNIB.

The current U.S. retail prices are $8550 for the Sub date and $7500 for the no-date.

$7742 for the date is an okay price if you prefer to purchase from an authorized dealer but you can buy for about $500-700 less from grey market sellers (a.k.a. "trusted sellers") in the classifieds section of this site.

Also, if you declare the purchase on your customs form upon returning, prepare to pay a couple hundred dollars duty.

I'm wearing my 116610LV from Goldfinger's as I type this.
The purchase was Duty Free and so no worries about paying extra at Customs but better to double check. Did it in 2013
Decent price for the full AD experience
Better pricing on TRF, of course
It's your call. Best of luck!

One extremely trusted seller on TRF is asking $7675 so I'd probably buy the one you are looking at if it is new. They will size it for you, you'll have it right now and your name will be on the warranty.

Doesn't seem too bad. I am going to saint maarten next week and plan on checking goldfingers out. Which location did you go to?

Yes, free of duty/taxes normally charged to residents of St. Maarten. Back in the U.S., unless you get an extremely cool customs officer or don't report the purchase (which can be bad if caught), you will have to pay a few percent duty on the amount in excess of your $1600/couple exemption.

I was in St Maarten in February and found that Goldfinger gave 10% on most stainless steel models and only 5% on BLNR.

Did get waved through but was ready to declare. With the family allowance it wasn't going to be a huge hit, nevertheless
Agree that honesty is the best policy
