My 1675 #2.32m that I've owned since new has the original bezel insert which has faded nicely. The fuchsia shift is more evident than indicated by the photo, which looks warmer, more brownish. This insert faded rapidly during the first 9-10 years when the bezel came off the watch while doing yard work. I bought another one and found the original a few years later in a flower bed, and by that time it had faded even more. It stayed inside and out of sunlight from the early '80s to about two years ago when I put it back on the watch. By contrast, the '80s-vintage insert that was worn for about 30 years in daily wear has faded in the red but almost none in the blue.

Do the Coke inserts also fade? I don't recall seeing one here that has faded like the Pepsi's do.

Yes, all the inserts will fade, but the black/red (coke) insert does not change to fuchsia.
