So close, yet so far away

After spending quite a bit of time searching for a 5513 that met my criteria, I stumbled upon a 16800 that was in very nice condition and had a matte dial and beautiful, even patina. I pulled the trigger on it, then sat back and congratulated myself on the purchase.

Within 10 minutes, I received a phone call from the establishment (watchuwant) telling me that the watch I purchased had actually been sold 15 minutes earlier and their website had not had time to update yet. DANG IT!

So frustrating.

I think you'll be glad the deal fell through. You wanted a 5513, you should get a 5513. Unless what you really want is a 5512 because HQ Milton has an absolute beauty up for sale right now.

Wow. Fast times we're living in.

You'll find something, just keep on the hunt!
