You're killing me with these photos. You are making me want to spend even more money on camera equipment and an Omega Aqua Terra chronograph.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a more expensive camera.
You don't need it. Learn how to master the light and the white balance and you can get that with a cheap camera. The pics below were taken with a 5 years old point and shoot 4 mp camera that is all beat up.

Chip, you missed your opportunity, buddy.
You could have traded, an old camera, a few lessons for possibly a SS Daytona Or maybe an expedition somewhere

Dave, Mr SUbfiend.
I thought he had SS in his collection & he is an explorer. So that seems like a fair trade to me.. I might be out in left field today

But you may still be in left field, that is still to be decided.

Chip,
I think they are referring to this. That's me with my '05 SS Daytona and '05 SD (specially engraved for my by Rolex NY) on my Titanic dive last August. The photo was taken with my Canon 20D, which I bought for "work."

I usually invite people I like and that have a skill we can use on the expedition, like photography.
I took over 1000 photos on the 8 day expedition last August, so I am fairly good at action/people/short range composition, but I have not tried macro photography until recently. Your photos have inspired me.

Actually JJ, I lead a secret double life. Mild mannered trial lawyer by day, father of two precocious children and two alienated step-children by night, and real life explorer a few weeks out of the year. I keep the these roles as separate as I can, because they are not compatible.
Fortunately, I am now married to a woman who understands and encourages my love of each. This was not always the case.
