Pics of new 233
Finally got a chance to take some pics. Better late than never.

Love the 44mm size, domed crystal, date/GMT functions, linear 8 day PR, manual wind, crown guard, etc... My favorite PAM and now I'm hooked on watches in the 42 to 44mm range. I think I'm done for a while.

Congratulations on getting one of the best Panerai models, IMHO! Wear it in good health!

Is that an R series? I am guessing that it is, based on the black alligator strap. I have a Q series that came with a black vintage calf strap (as opposed to the black calf tunnel strap that came with previous editions).

You might be done for a while buying watches, but I suggest you look into getting more straps - the 233's strap mechanism makes swapping a breeze and this watch looks great with just about every combination you can think of...
