Funny enough, the cashier at my local Shake Shack noticed my Jumbo while taking my kids to lunch. One never knows where the WIS hide. Lol.

That's funny. My buddy and I were watching at a big party and both of us immediately thought he was wearing a RO also.

One newly married couple was talking about watches and wanted advice from us and said they wanted Movados. I had a SubC ND and my buddy had a DJ on and no one noticed. So I doubt they would notice a RO. I've only ever seen 1 in the wild.

Actually my most recognized watches are a $20 chinese skeleton handwind I bought for fun and a Movado I got as a gift. The Movado actually gets the most negative comments as people think I must be stupid to spend so much on a watch...

I was at the casino in Pittsburgh the other night and spotted a very nice RO, but most people will never know.

I was at Nordstrom in our city yesterday and the salesman in the men's shoes section who was serving me immediately noticed mine and he started his sales pitch with me "nice AP, I love those dials on AP" ....turns out his father is a WIS and has a collection, his father gave all his Breitling to him for now as he is in University....nice kid, and his opening remarks to me got him a sale of Varvatos shoes!

Professional criminals probably know their watches as well.

I was sitting in a car at a dealership and the salesman put his hand through the door to introduce himself.

He was wearing a 44 panda, me, 44 RG.

Instantly hit it off.

People don't notice AP's as much as rolexes.

I saw it too, his son was wearing a RG RO even though they're sponsored by Hublot.

He was wearing a Hublot Unico rose gold. It was not an AP.

Another case of how Hublot copies AP.

In my experience with the 15400 one person noticed but when I flat out told them what it was, they had no clue. I could have told them it was made by Winston Churchill for all they knew.

But it does catch the eye.

Side note I saw John legend in concert tonight and spotted him wearing what looked like a safari, although it may have been a 42 RG. Either way, you can't miss the finishing for any other brand.

I think this argument has been debated way too many times before. Maybe it's a case of one not being able to tell the difference between the two? He could have been wearing a JLC Extreme Lab 2 in rose gold and some would have said it was a ROO RG 44?

Honestly, can anyone honestly say that GO and Lange don't look alike? Rolex and Omega? Some JLC and Pateks? There are only so many design variations a watch can be made? Just my humble opinion.

There are so many design variations a watch can be made, especially if you want to use "screws" and similar case / layouts. Remove the screws and maybe there will be enough differentiation. I think it's too much of a copy, just my humble opinion.

I see people looking at my 15202 all the time, but don't comment on it. I like the fact that the watch is very avant-garde and most of the unwashed masses won't know what it is.

I've gotten a couple compliments on my 15400 in the few months I've owned it. But nobody knew what kind of watch it was.

I just got off a carnival cruise where the sales associate in their jewelry store complimented my watch, asked me if it costs as much as a breitling, and then told me he had a tag that looked very similar.

Stop right there. Ive heard enough!

I did a Silver Sea's cruise and got 2 comments on my gold Rolex GMT. Make that 3 including the airhostess. Saw a patek and Ulysse Nardin in the wild. when we got off at Napel's I couldn't believe they still had them on!

The same as you guys I had a lady comment on my AP at a Christmas functions on the weekend, but she had no idea what it was.
