Solid 18K gold possible on this one?

There are a few reputable replica sites out there... Im trying to find the most expensive, well built one...

In anyones opinion, is it possible for a daytona, 2-tone replica to have solid 18k gold pieces on it? (the crown, and two adjacent buttons, bezel, and the inside links of bracelet) if it costs $1,450?

The site is located in the US and having talked to someone in customer service there, they assured me its solid gold on the 2-tone models, and triple wrapped gold on the all-gold models.

I am sure that they would love to have someone's $1450 for a $200 Chinese fake.

Scam artists are generally very convincing. They also drive flash cars and leave their victims with a bitter taste in their mouth.

As a bona fide long term Rolex fan, I don't recommend you purchase a replica.

" reputable replica sites"
Is this not an oxymoron?

Well guys, I already own two rolex replicas, the first is a 2-tone daytona, the second is a stainless submariner with blue dial/bezel. They cost 200 bucks each and they both function flawlessly, have the self-winding mechanisms, and get me compliments everyday.

My only gripe is, even tho the stainless one is solid steel all the way through, the daytona has a small spot on the crown where the gold is wearing off. (I never expected solid gold for 200 bucks) I coated it in clear nail polish to contain the spot, but Id like to have a daytona 2-tone that has solid gold pieces on it and use that on special occasions, ironically using the cheaper replica for day to day activities until it becomes too obvious, and then throw it away.

I totally understand where you guys are coming from and I know you do not condone fake watches, but I can afford the real thing. I make over $150,000 a year, and could buy a new daytona without even flinching, but you have absolutely got to be kidding me that I would EVER spend 13-20 thousand dollars on a watch. Even if I was a multi-millionaire, I still would not do it.

Im satisfied with the ones I bought, and their both japanese-built grade-2s.

Why hang around a Rolex watch forum if you want to own knock-offs? I agree with the poster above; "I thought this was a Rolex Watch Forum."

Also, there is no need to boast about how much you earn. There are many who probably do more than you and earn less and there are some who don't do as much and earn more. The bottom line is that we are all in this world together.

There are many things you probably own that I would never consider paying that much for. My hobbies are expensive bicycles and expensive watches.

You've posted three times and have become provocative already. Maybe you can find another place to hang out.

Im sorry to hear you feel that way. My only question was, is it possible to have solid gold links, bezel and crown on a two-tone daytona for around 1400 dollars. I have no idea how much gold that would equal, maybe a single ounce, maybe one and a half, if so then it can be done.

Simple answer.........NO. The best the reps have is triple wrapped. And in my opinion.....NO rep is worth more than $200.

BTW: This is the wrong forum to discuss reps...there are a ton of rep watch forums out there......

You know things have gone awry in a thread when you get an uncomfortable feeling. I would not recommend any replicas, plain and simple. . If you have an interest enough to be so concerned about whats contained in a replica then apparently you would somewhere along the line go above and beyond to purchase the real deal. Just my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Dear CGF,

I note that you have posted about replicas in the WatchOut!!!! section. Maybe this was a faux pars. Anyhow, until you have owned the real thing, you don't really know what it's like. So if it a case of earning big bucks & not wanting to spend some of it on the real thing, then it is just a case of exactly that. We on the other hand, have a passion for these watches. We work hard to save the cash & when we buy a REAL Rolex, we feel we have achieved something.

It also makes special members such as those on this forum who invest significant amounts of their time in spotting fakes so that innocent people are not done out of their hard earned cash. This is what REAL Rolex means.

I urge you to go and buy one, a pre-owned will do just fine, and stop aggravating people with queries about fakes.

Maybe I'll buy a VW instead of a Porsche because they have the same engine.

Yours sincerely..............Mars

Sure buddy. I'd rather buy a real thing at market price than embarass myself with a POS for a few bucks. Lock this.

Do you prefer REAL or Almost REAL women? (I do apologize I didn't mean to discriminate against those pretty boys. It is quite commons for where I'm from.) There is nothing wrong to earn big bucks but prefer replica. But, this might not be the right place for you.

I think he was just trying to light a fire here.

Let's just not give him any oxygen and let him creep back to the "reputable" fake forums.

Just an FYI, but what you have on that "Watch" (and next to your skin) is not gold, not 14K, not 18K, not any KT. What it is, is a gold colored, lead based amalgam sitting right up against the largest organ in your body...your skin. If you don't want to spend $$ on a Rolex...fine, there is no shame in that but for god sakes, wear something safe.

Plenty of replica sites out there with better information on all the Chinese fakes than you can get from a Rolex site..

In the end, it says a lot about someone...

I totally agree that anybody's income do not have any relation with how much money you dare to spend for a watch.
I earn only 10% of what you earned, but I feel my 2 rolexes are my best purchases I made in my life.
Some years back, I also started with buying rolex replica. But I was so ashamed and do not know what to answer when I met somebody and asked me 'wow, what a nice watch' while pointing to my wrist. Then, I decided that I will only wear the real one.
Some people comment that I am crazy of spending almost half of my year income for my YM. For me, it is just a matter of choice you want to make. I am happy with my decision. At least up to today..............
