Last weekend, Jewelers Row - Wabash Ave. - Chicago

Just a few snaps of a several watches that I saw while downtown with the family last weekend. The kids were more interested in the el trains running overhead than the watches. Miss Jody, kept dragging her feet when passing windows with diamond rings. Oh well, can't please everyone! Sorry, I didn't get to dawdle on Michigan Ave. or in anyone of the dealers in the "upper floors" on Wabash Ave. The American Girl store was our final destination. Our little man wasn't impressed much with the AG store (see next post)... Us boys should have stuck with the Rollies and left the womenfolk to the dollies and diamonds.

Justin wasn't impressed with the AG Store...

I can't say as I blamed him. The nap looked justified.

The whole store is a "girlie section". I told management that they should have a lounge/pub, like Nordstrom's has for all the husbands and men to go into and have a drink and relax while the ladies are shopping. All I got was a funny look.

I don't know. I had Miss Jody with kids with me. No time to stop in and see. Now, maybe next week, I could go back and see?

I am not sure. There are quite a few grey dealers on Wabash Ave. Anyways, this store has been there for years and years. That must say something.

Wabash Stores

I have never posted here, but have bought rolexs at number of stores there. None of them are AD's and most of there stuff is pretty average. However once in a while you can come across something good, but it will cost. Example, the other day I was in the shop you took pics of and they had a very nice vintage explorer, gilt dial, and it was priced SOOOOO high i just laughed at them. I have seen better prices for most stuff over the net. Just my $.02....however deals can be had if you bring cash.
