Sub stopped?
First post so please go easy!
I bought a second hand 116619 earlier this year, it was first sold in France in 2011. It's worn daily during the week, but not usually much over the weekend: I need to wind it manually maybe once a month. Anyway, yesterday I put it on when it must have been nearing exhaustion...it stopped 20 mins later and now refuses to restart even after a manual wind. I suspect something broken, but if anyone has had any similar experiences or a miraculous easy fix I would be grateful. |

Now would be the right time you sent it in for a service...
Odds are it won't be needing another one in ages! |

I had something similar happen to mine. It is probably the mainspring, which is a part they replace at routine service.

Wind the crown 40 full turns and if movement does not start try "swirling" the watch gently like you would a glass of wine. If no go, yes send in for service, but that watch really does not qualify for service yet at only 4 years old.

That's what I was thinking. My Smurf is a V serial puts in around 2010 and it has pretty much been my daily wearer for a year now.

Yep - mainspring broken, thanks for the confirmation. Have put it in for service and to have the bracelet polished.
Back to the 1999 Breitling (which has had one service in it's life so far) for 8 weeks..... |

Prob a main spring.
Just send it in for service and the main spring is part of the deal. |
