Ceramic Diver vs SS Diver weight and comfort?
I owned the original SS Diver a few years ago but sold it because I found it too uncomfortable. The buckle and case back both had sharp edges that tended to dig into my wrist, plus the watch was fairly heavy.
I love the look of the Ceramic Diver but would it wear any differently than my old Diver did? |

Yes lighter and more comfortable for sure, it's perfect almost as comfy as a Patek 5712...

I owned the SS diver before switching to the ceramic version.
Never regretted the decision since the ceramic diver is lighter and more comfortable for tiny wrist like mine. Speaking of which, am wearing it today on a rainy Xmas eve in Singapore ![]()

I had a ceramic diver for a month or so and found it to be extremely comfortable. That said, with your complaints about the buckle, I believe that would be identical. Not sure if the lighter package would change a lot for you.

probably the only big sized watch to beat it in comfort is the FC diver, but the ceramic is surprisingly comfy, quite incredible...

I found it to be comfortable when I tried one on. Here are weights that I heard somewhere:
SS - 169g ceramic - 139g forged carbon - 110g |

Based on my experience, quite comfortable and even more comfortable when fit with new ROO 42mm strap.
