The Old Guy and The New Corvette

About a year ago, this 60 something guy is going through a crisis. He hops right down to the Chevy Dealer and pays cash for a new C7 Corvette.

Then he scoots out of the parking lot and up onto the freeway heading South...

Just as he makes the county line, he opens it up to about 105 MPH, just to see how it handles.

Sure enough, a state trooper pulls out from behind an 18 wheeler and turns on the flashers and siren. The old guy pulls the Vette over to the shoulder and awaits his fate...

The cop comes up to his window and says "I get off my shift in 10 minutes. If you can give me an excuse that I've never heard before, I'll let you off with a warning".

Without hesitation he tells the officer "Ten years ago my wife ran off with a policeman. I was afraid you were bringing her back!"

The cop says "Have a nice day and walked back to his patrol car....

Ha, oldie but a goody. And it caught my eye because it could be me... I drive a C7 and I am well beyond my 60s. But I've been married for 44 years and hope be with her for many more (she puts up with my Corvette and Rolex habits after all...)

Big Joe:

All I could afford was a used C-6, and my wife owns half of it!

Here's mine. I had 2 C6s before this one. Actually this is my eighth Corvette over the years. May have to sell it to buy more Rolexs though...
