It doesn't take a history major to realize the Assad family has been killing their citizens for sport over the last 40 years. I think this is not the right place to discuss those subjects.

There is indeed a lot of history behind that line of text, actually much more that what you say. The bad ones in the end might not be the ones you think If you really start studying history...

I think you have a beautiful piece and good bad or indifferent, people collect nazi items, so even if you don't like the family why condemn someone unrelated to the issues for collecting a piece of history and a neat watch.
