I love watches with a history and the new insert is a prefect combo.
Congrats!

It doesn't take a history major to realize the Assad family has been killing their citizens for sport over the last 40 years. Bashar is a bit more cruel than his father IMO but they're both still horrible people. The sick bastard drops barrel bombs on his citizens. Practically backs ISIS. And now is in bed with Putin. In a time when the Assad families crimes against humanity are spotlighted in the media, it's kinda hard to turn a blind eye to the totalitarian rule that's been endured by the Syrian citizens over the past 45 years. While you think it's a nice little red line, I see the blood of generations in that dial. i don't see how somone can "appreciate" the watch if they don't even know the history behind the leader. There's a lot of history in that line of text, and it's not a very pretty one.

Apart from the history of the originator, this is a great looking piece.

I think this is not the right place to discuss those subjects. There is indeed a lot of history behind that line of text, actually much more that what you say. The bad ones in the end might not be the ones you think If you really start studying history... Anyways this is a great watch. Congrats!

I think you have a beautiful piece and good bad or indifferent, people collect nazi items, so even if you don't like the family why condemn someone unrelated to the issues for collecting a piece of history and a neat watch.
