Real Tag?

Bought some watches from a guy today and he just sent me this pic of a Tag saying it needs a battery. It's pretty worn but is this a real Tag and approximately what would it be worth. If it's real I'm practically stealing it for what he said he wants for it.

No good. I used to own the real version. You can see some of the color rubbing off on the bracelet too.

What do the sub dials do? The lower subdial is labelled "sec" so what does the central seconds hand do? It's not a chronograph, there aren't any pushers.

This looks like a watch made by someone who saw a watch once......and then wrote Tag Heuer on it.
