Never heard of this until now. Looks like an oversized g-shock that the color matches your sneakers kind of event. I won't bring my Rolex or myself.

Very nice example of the times which are surely a changing. And often not for the better. There's not a rock group alive today worthy of licking the boots of the surviving Zepps. It's been a long time since I rock and rolled.

In an atmosphere where anything goes, anything can "get gone." I'd leave the Daytona at home.

I didn't even take that into account! Haha go figure...I think I want it because I would enjoy it before and after the actual cruise(i.e. everything in Florida itself).

But therein lies the problem of protecting my preeeeecious (while off-wrist) from prying eyes in my luggage... And I don't think I could completely disconnect from a stress like that, no matter what condition I was in. It shall remain in California.

EDIT: I will only bring disposable cameras and my new age polaroid.

Jesus. I went to Electric Zoo in NYC the first year it came around and before everyone jumped on the bandwagon. I thought it was nuts and I never went back. This Holy Mother Ship is a whole different level.

Whoa. I'll leave the Rolex home and I'll stay home too.

Sorry my friend but Phish + Lettuce + Widespread Panic don't even come close to = Led Zepp. I'm not saying they're bad. I do enjoy some of their music but ro me it's nowhere near the same level.

Lol. I just looked up "DMB." Like my good friend Bugs always says, "sheesh what a maroon." Yeah I like some of Dave's stuff as well.

Hello? I wasn't comparing but illustrating that there is some great contemporary music by real artists. Not getting into the tired Beatles, Who, Led Zep, which was the "best" band nonsense. Best actor. Best painter. Best football team. No thanks. Opinions are like ......

So basically a booze infested f**kfest on a boat. I wouldn't take anything I couldn't throw or wash away after. Maybe even see what my retainer balance is before I even depart.

I understand. I love music. Lots of various genres. it really is one of the grestest pleasures in my life. And you're right that it's pointless to compare. But for me, nothing since provides the same pleasure in that particular genre and not for want of seeking it out and listening to new stuff.
