Tiny white fiber in my YMII case

As the title reads , after a week and a half of ownership I noticed this when in direct sunlight. I tried my best to capture withe my camera phone.
This is a new watch with the Rolex 5 year warranty.
What would you do ?
My choices
1) Keep the watch for Now and fix it later ?

2) take it to RSC in Manhattan. I own an apartment on East 61st so it would be walking distance I believe.
Wonder what the turnaround time to fix would be ?

Free service? No. They won't touch the movement.

I had a spec of dust under crystal. Brought it in, ready in three days.

I had a piece of lint in my Milgauss and they took it no problem. Took 4 days roughly. If I were you just bring it in for piece of mind. Free of charge of course and you get a nice Rolex pouch as well.

Ok, I thought maybe they service the movement due to free floating fiber in the case.
3 or 4 days seems pretty reasonable.
What did you bring besides the watch ? Warranty card ?

All you need to provide is your warranty card. I also have a fiber on the dial of my 6 month old BLNR, I will be sending mine to the RSC when get back from holidays.

Hey Tom, sorry to hear that, sounds like it would be a quick fix, bring it in and have it taken care of. Just a few days of waiting. Good luck.
