Rolex Accessories (pref Cufflinks)

I know Rolex is fantastic, quality watch brand that is highly regarded amoungst the watch fraternity but would releasing selected, and i mean, selected, accessories tarnish it.

I love wearing my Rolex to work and would love a pair of precious metal cufflinks to match. Much like Cartier offer.

Crisp white double-cuff shirt, white gold Rolex Daytona, and a set of white gold cufflinks with the crown logo on (no writing) . Come on, isn't that just class.

What does the forum think about Rolex releasing a range of precious metal cufflinks?

Then some hoodie on the tube eyes the cufflinks up and down and puts two and two togther, next thing you know you are nursing a black eye and your left wrist feels strangely light.

With Rolex less is always more.

Pop along to Burlington Arcade in St James London and have a look at the wonderful antique dealers they have in the row. You will find something there that really sets the watch off without the obvious "Hello boys come and mug me now" tag.

I see your point but Rolex cufflinks dont necessarily mean one wears a Rolex watch.

Cartier do cufflinks, Bulgari do cufflinks, and so do Mont Blanc who are now serious watch makers since they bought minerva.

True,

Anyone who wears Rolex cufflinks without the watch would really be a plonker!

Whenever I have seen someone with them on, grant you not that often, first thing comes to mind "what model Oyster has he got".

Hoddies are even more brand conscience than when I was growing up.

Plus it is a bit bling!

Sorry!

"Come on, isn't that just class" - not sure about that. Problem might come when you are having dinner with some influencial guests and one recognizes the links as being Rolex and turns round and says "that's the problem with new money dear boy" At that point you might want the floor to open up and fall through it.

You did ask the question!

If Rolex paid me for the free advertising I'd wear the cufflinks. Hell, I'd wear Rolex branded underwear and parade around with my pants down if they paid enough.

Well AFJ is what abit offensive but hey, i did ask the question. Apology accepted.
If done in a understated manner, just think it would be a nice addition to the Rolex range.

Im wondering if Cartier owners think the same way as u do? One can buy cartier cufflinks.

My love of the Rolex brand has made me not mind wearing anything with the name on it. Polo shirt or what not but cufflinks were never something I wore or had interest in enough to need Rolex Coronet ones. Any regular ones in prescious metal like 18K gold would do fine.
