Tudor power reserve question...

Hi All -
I have been wearing my brand Tudor Black Bay Black since late December. Running fine, probably +8/+9 per day. Fine by me. However, I took it off yesterday for the first time for a longer duration, and it stopped moving after 19 hours. To me, it's not the biggest deal. But I read the reserve should be somewhere within 38 hours? Should I be doing something different? And is it worth having it checked out?
Thanks in advance.

Mine is usually dead after about a day or so... I don't exactly know when it stops because it goes inside of a safe when not on wrist.

Is that 19 hours after the watch has been fully wound? You may want to turn your crown 40+ rotations and observe again.

Thanks, I will try that. I know I wound it up before I put it on a few months ago, but I don't remember if i did 40 full winds. Probably not. I will try that.

Chances are you were running on half a tank.

had a smilar issue with my thc (different watch but similar q) but was told by my ad it was fine after a check. my ad said that since i'm at a desk all day it doesn't really charge up with simple wear. now, i wind mine 40 half turns if i'm going to rest it for more than an day and its holding a 30+hr charge.

As said likely your lifestyle does not fully wounds the watch while at your wrist. The manual wound test suggested will put uncertainty to rest.

It doesn't matter if you fully wind it when you put it on.

If you are not active enough to keep it fully wound it will always, always, eventually wind down to the level of your activity. In your case that appears to be about 19-20 hours.

Power reserve numbers are based on a fully wound watch, not one you have been wearing for a while and simply take off and set down..
