The crystal on this Datejust looks a little....

Good Morning TRF

Finally ready to pull the trigger on a 36mm Datejust and I've been eyeing this one but as I look at the sideview of the crystal, its looks a little to bulking and awkward.

I know crystal replacements happen but something looks off with this crystal.

Let me know your thoughts...

I may be wrong but it just looks like an older model DJ with a plexiglass crystal, not the modern thinner sapphire. Otherwise all looks ok.

I would want to see it in the company of other like-style watches for comparison. In the second picture it certainly seems to stand proud of the case.

Looks like a normal plexi crystal. I'd ask the seller and just make sure it's all original.

Looks OK for me. Plexi in good shape and case is great. Fluted bezel quite good too! Just find out authenticity of the plexi.

Looks sharp to me; here's my 1803 crystal. No picture of crystal height on my 16013 but it isn't as tall as the 1803.
