The numbers on the bezel are wrong and seem to be thick, crown guards seem to be wrong, i think that the laser etching is visible just the top of it which from this angle cannot be seen on a genuine watch and lastly the print on the dial seems to be thick and misaligned for example the rolex crown on the dial seems to be misaligned with the 12 o clock luminescent marker

As a result i think that it is a fake

PS the cosc tag looks like a fake one too

I agree,it looks as though the "L" in rolex is mis-aligned as well.
he should really have had it verified if he picked it up from a sale like that.that is a notorious way that fakes are "gotten rid of".
