I would love to see the giant fall!!
it would give the market a chance to sprout up several new venues for auction type sales with more fairness to the sellers and more security to the buyers.less fee's-less fee's! |

I think this is just the beginning of the end. Lawsuits will start flying now, especially in the USA. For as much as ebay makes, they could police their auctions much, much better.
The obvious are buy-it-now auctions that offer $40000 cars for $10,000 or Harleys for $5000 that are worth triple that, the list goes on and on...just insert your own example here. Ebay has provided a venue for honest sellers, but, in the end, it has attracted more than its share of criminals and provided them an easy market to prey upon the unsuspecting, honest buyers that wouldn't know a "con" if it was tattooed on their forehead. There are many honest people in the world, thank God there are many more of them than all these frauds on ebay. It's too bad that they are preyed upon by the few.
