I would not touch it. Imho, it's a knock-off:

See this pic from the listing.

The LEC is far too obvious, and the SEL is poorly fitted (gap).

And on this other pic from the listing, the seller has blurred the details so that you cannot see if the "m" in "metres" is directly over the "M" in "Chronometer" or not (as it should be).

This is indeed "ROVER eBay" as the url states.

I really should be working ... But checked this out and agree with Bo and Thani ... Looks very suspect. In addition to their noted observations, I see that: crown doesn't look right -- too thick, wide; crown guard ears seem overlapping the crown and too thick, not quite right shape. The close up pics of bezel/face are blurred, but it seems to me that the dial is a bit "off," as well, as far as clarity of detail of printing and logo. $3100 also seems way too low .... Should E-Bay be notified?

And, of course, the LEC seems much too large and "in your face," not as I have ever seen on a real one.

I contacted my contact at E-Bay and gave them all of the links in question. Please do not interfere as I wish to have this guy banned from E-Bay. He is a crook and I thank everyone who found the link in the first place for the watch, and Chris for finding the link to the box that he used to make his sale look legitimate.

Unfortunately this story did not have a happy ending yet. It ended with the E-Bay's; "Buy It Now" option which means that a credit card was used and the watch was purchased before E-Bay pulled it. The item is now listed as invalid so I am hoping E-Bay can cancel out the charges to the guy's credit card. The buyer contacted me all in a panic and is wondering what to do. I contacted my source in E-Bay and it should get resolved. It may just take a little time.
