Rolex Bezel Removal - Video

I was casually "youtubing" when I ran into this very interesting video.

After about a minute or so of intro, the video then cut to a "DIY" portion on how to remove a watch's bezel. This is where the video got, um, very interesting.

In the vid, the person was using a spring bar tool as a pointer, showing the bezel and its presumed function. I couldn't help but cringe every time he made contact with the crystal and the bezel. But what really made me jump out of my seat is when he pulled out a razorblade to pry the bezel out. A RAZORBLADE!

Now, I absolutely have no watch repair/making experience, nor do I mean any disrespect to the person or store in the vid, but is this how it's done commercially?!? Holy sh*t!! Please say it isn't so! My SD is with an RSC as we speak, and I want it back untouched if this is the case!!!!

A razor blade is for datejusts and explorers. On Sea Dwellers, a butter knife is more effective. Put masking tape on the lugs first, though.

I don't even have to click the link to know what video your talking about. The way he treats that watch I would never let someone like him work on my timepieces. That watch was probably someone else's and of course he says its before polish basically acknowledging it's being marked up.
