Visconti is one of the last true quality celluloid pen craftsmen. Especially after Omas has gone into receivership and is being sold off.
My compliments!!! Beautiful and worth every penny!

Visconti: BIG fan.
SUPER NICE pen, sir. I know you'll enjoy it.
I think Visconti runs of the finest large-production fountain pen shops in the world. They also possess that bold Italian flare that I find lacking in most other brands. Once I got hooked on the "Skeleton" range, I purchased almost every variant. (All 11 of the pens pictured are Visconti.) No doubt that an expertly tuned Sailor or even an out-of-the-box Pelican 600 writes extremely well. I've never been impressed with the ubiquitous White Mountain fountain pens, but people who use them seem to swear by them. I'm a big fan of Delta, too. But the Visconti nibs just seem to me to be highly expressive, yet highly predictable -- mutually exclusive attributes of most brands. I like the brand so much, I bought a Visconti watch. And as it turns out, I'm loving it more and more. I have posted a few comments on how warm and unique brass or bronze watches are. But I'm not sure I ever would've purchased a high-end bronze piece, had I not already been hooked on the brand's fountain pen products. |

Visconti...!
What else is left to say? Their workmanship is 2nd to none and the pen is lovely in that celluloid. The only thing I don't like is the clip. Just dont care for the way you have to pull it open with your fingers to get it to clip to the pocket. But perhaps that is just me.
