Beware, 'The Beast' on C24

I have been looking on c24 for a AP ROO 'the Beast' ie with the original blue dial...

Saw this at a good price, looked nice at first glance on the mobile -then I spotted it, can you?

http://www.chrono24.se/audemarspigue...-id4155377.htm

Watch itself might be kosher but when you put an AP back like that you are not an official AP watchmaker....

Negotiate it down to the right price that allows you to cover the cost of AP servicing it and making it properly ‘mint’ condition.
I’d use €1300 as a ballpark figure.

That's a good one...

Definitely assembled by someone who has no clue about APs.

If Hublot serviced it then that will be good for the next 5 years no problem. Actually now that you mentioned it how come the distance between subdials is so messed up (I know the movement but still any other brand and that's a faux pas)? I would be more concerned with that then screws. Apart from that nice colour and overall shape-nice.

Most likely a fake. A dead giveaway is the lack of depth on the date window... notice how shallow the date dial is. Probably running on an ETA/Valjoux movement. On an authentic AP the date will be much more recessed. Also the font on the date looks off. Sub-dial spacing looks wrong. Lol...

I wonder would you be as confident if you put up a donation to charity, should you be wrong?

Even if it's authentic - maybe a good idea to stay away. Who knows what has been done inside. Too much risk for me!
