I worked for Costco for 14 years....and have been gone for about 10. I first saw a Rolex in one of the locations I worked at way back in the 90's....so this is nothing new.
Some people can't get over buying high end luxury items like diamonds and watches at Costco...but they need to get over it as you are buying authentic pieces, and usually at amazing prices. The only problem is that you have to get lucky and hope to find a piece you might be interested in as the variety is hit and miss. Oh and their return policy simply can not be beat! RIDE |

I saw a Platinum DD with ice blue face at the Costco in Mountain View CA a few months ago. If I'm not mistaken, it was about $35,000 or $37,000 USD

I was in Costco today and the watch I posted three up from here was still there. Here's what I learned:
1. I offered a lower price and Costco won't negotiate. They tried to tell me it was the wholesale price which I flatly called them out on. But still no negotiation. I wasn't interested in buying anyway so testing the water had no negative consequence. 2. This is important, if you ever thought about buying at Costco. You get the full protection offered but if you ever sell the watch that protection does not travel with the watch. Same for anything purchased at Costco. You could however buy it and give it as a gift... which is the obvious loophole if you bought at Costco and then sold to a private buyer. As most seem to hate the idea of being able to buy a Rolex at Costco most of you don't care. But for anyone secretly considering it I hope this is helpful information. |

Ge used to have, Tag and Omega he in Everett WA, now there are some entry mens level rolex priced at 5999. Due to the tax, still cheaper to buy from the forum or from Jomashop.

Wasn't expecting to see this guy at Costco in Glen Burnie, MD, near Baltimore...but there it sits, as we speak. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Didn't like the notion at first but if there was the Rolex that I wanted at a great price for BNIB, I think I would pull the trigger.

I'm with you. The price on the one I saw wasn't anything spectacular (and I wasn't interested in the model), but if I saw one I really wanted at a great price, I would likely do the same. I was more surprised in this instance at the location it was found in. Not to knock my adopted hometown of Baltimore, but I would have expected to find this in a DC suburban Costco rather than a Baltimore one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
