Newbie here but am getting a 5905. I'm having the hardest time deciding between the black and blue dial. Both look stunning but as much as I like th blue, my wife says black. Currently have a 5980 with blue dial and 5135. Other watches an Ap safari (which I'm trading) and a bumblebee which I'm keeping. Also have a couple of Carl Bucherers- both with a black dial. Don't wear these much and would sell them but likely won't get much for them so I keep em.

Would love to hear opinions on which you would get. Black or blue?

WOW!! This is one beautiful watch. I really like the black background on the day, date and month. That is a stunner!

I think they got a blue one in yesterday at Hamra's. I was down picking up a watch and they were unloading the shipment. Might want to call and verify and go try it on!

Serious?? I definitely need to go pay a visit and try the bad boy on for size. I have a dealer that I buy from out of California so there is not tax upon shipping, but wouldn't mind giving the business locally if they can match the price.

Thanks for the heads up. Greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the heads up at Hamra. They do in fact have a blue 5905. It's thick. Love it. I was leaning black but in the flesh blue is going to be kickass.

Martin, congratulations that looks one mean beast and fits your wrist beautifully.
Love the photo showing the diamond at 6 o' clock on the case.

You bet. Always nice to try them on and look at the colors before you drop that much $. I was there when they unloded that watch. It's stunning. It would be a tough decision for me re: blue vs black. Only consolation is that it is an amazing watch regardless of the color - you can't go wrong. If I ever decided to get a strap / dress watch this would be top of my list.
