Is this a scratch on sapphire?

Hi, I don't know how I did this it is actually not that big but it does not come off, does it look like a typical scratch? Any advice on how to get rid of it? Thanks!

just looks like dirt to me. Have you tried cleaning with a microfiber cloth and a very mild cleaner?

If you can feel it with your nail chances are it's a scratch. Try mild dish soap and a baby's toothbrush.

If you are speaking about the round mark, that looks more like a chip than a scratch. You obviously banged the crystal really hard. I would replace the crystal if it were myself.

Well I don't really remember doing something like that but I guess that's not impossible. I will take it to the Rolex dealer and see what they think

I agree. Also looks like some bezel damage just to the left of the 11 o'clock marker on the bezel insert. It's small but I noticed it could've happened at the same time.

Looks like dirt to me.. have you tried some warm water and a soft tooth brush and mild soup? To me from this pic it looks like you might also have some dirt at the 12 marker on the bezel too...

The damage on th bezel plus the crystal leads me to suggest it didn't happen while you wore it.
Perhaps you put it in a locker at gym with other items? Or a car's glove box? Or a briefcase going through TSA?

In other words looks like a contact pressure situation where something was pressed hard enough against the head to do the damage.

But how it happened isn't that important - frankly I'd live with it until it's time for service.
