BLNR vs Exp II - accuracy contest
I don't really care too much about the accuracy of mechanical watches, as long as they keep reasonable time. Just over the weekend, I must have had too much time on my hand, I thought it'd be interesting to see which of my two babies keep better time over a period of a few days. Inside I was hoping that the BLNR would come out the winner, considering it's only a few months old and the Exp II hasn't had a service since I bought it 5 years ago. I don't think it's ever had one since it left the factory 10 years ago.
Anyway, the BLNR performed astonishingly well at +2s and the Exp II was -15s over a period of 4.5 days. I couldn't be happier with the results. |

That seems to be consistent with my findings as well. My BLNR is one year old (tomorrow!) and is currently running +1 daily. Both did well.

As peter has said plus - it you wear them each for a week each on the wrist the results will be different.

Both had equal wrist time, on alternate days. I do baby the BLNR a bit more than the Exp II but I doubt if that would make any difference at all. Either way, I'm totally satisfied with the result from the comparison, most impressed with Rolex.
