Gold day date 40 with smooth bezel?

Just curious. Do you guys think this will happen eventually? Or will they keep the smooth bezel unique to platinum. I know there is no crystal ball but im curious what you all think .

The WG 118209 has been discontinued a few years ago but it can still be found, both on oyster and president bracelet.
