Don't do it. Save for the Deep Sea and keep the LV and SD4k.

If you love ROLEX keep them both and go to DSSD for next target

AP is more dress than your items

For the DSSD it's a really bad deal.
For the AP, price-wise, it looks OK but I wouldn't trade those two for the particular model.

I wouldn't trade, I'd keep the SD4000 and the Sub 50th. I have a SD4000 and a Dblue. I should have bought a Sub 50th when it was released. The 50th Subs I see for sale are well worn, over polished, or over priced. My Dblue is a big watch and it doesn't get much wrist time but I wouldn't part with it. I wouldn't consider an AP Royal Oak. If I was in your position I'd stand pat and save for a Dblue purchase in the future.

I certainly wouldn't be going through with the Dblue trade. As far as the AP goes, it's ok. However I'd save up for the Dblue & call it a day.

Yeah.....another vote here for not trading and just saving toward those pieces if you really want it....IMO those 2 you have are better.

Had a DSSD, then bluesy & datejust... Then day date, so been round the houses a bit and am now with the AP..

For me it was a combination of what I wore mostly on a daily basis (suit) which the APRO looks perfect with, plus the flexibility if I wanted to wear at the weekend it's got the SS bracelet so durable enough.

I also like the fact that AP sell a conversion kit to put it in leather at some point in time and I'll have a completely different watch for not much outlay.

If it makes any difference- the AP after only owning for 2 weeks has been the watch which has drawn the most attention and interest out of all of my stainless watches.

if the blue boutique 15400, okay, but, otherwise, i'd stick with what you have.

It all depends on why you are looking to trade. If you are using a lot the SD 4000 and the 50th would agree with others to just save for the new piece, but if they are not getting wrist time then why not. 2 for 1 on the DS Blue doesn't sounds favorable; not familiar with the price of the AP

I also have a SS black daytona in the collection ( but that's a keeper). Good points. Forget about he Dblue but the AP is very tempting .. And it's too expensive to save for ...

Honestly, that does not even sound like a fair trade, especially for the deep sea.

Another option would be to trade the sd4000 for the regular deepsea and keep the 50th. Anyone has or has had both ?

I would Keep one Rolex and save and add another, probably the AP. I Have owned both a DSSD and a 41mm ROC and the 41mm actually wears bigger looking down on the wrist as the dial is much wider. However the DSSD is much thicker, so overall they feel about the same for me. I'd go with 1 Rolex and 1 AP.

I think you'll get the best bang for your buck with this idea. Although I would go for the D-Blue...awesome watch.

Bad trade for the D Blue and okay on the AP only if it's for the blue boutique edition - silver or black and I think you're upside down on value.

I'd stay put or flip one of your current two and pay the difference.
