I agree, to an extent. Nothing turns me off to something more than intentional shortages leading to inflamed desire. It creates an air of mystique about (in this case) a stainless steel watch with a ceramic bezel - rather an ordinary piece.

I could understand the hype about the Platona, but not this. Frankly, even if I had the funds for one and could get my hands on one, I'd pass. I'd spend a third of it on a big block Tudor and be far happier with my purchase.
