And this is the "old" technology I use to check the accuracy of my Rolex!!
SOUND is much QUICKER and SURE-FIRE way to gauge the accuracy of your Rolex as compared with SIGHT.....so the simplest way to do it is this.....
Use any basic AM radio as show below (that's one from 1982) ![]() When the first beep sounds, your second hand should be on '11' and when the 6th beep sounds, your second hand should hit '12'. How simple can that get? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The trouble with the accurist site is that even with a fast internet connection (20Mbps) I noticed a small amount of lag on the signal.
I use one of three sources. An analogue radio like JJ - there is a 2 to 3 second delay on DAB so you cannot use that, the speaking clock on BT's telephony service or my radio controlled alarm clock. I like the fact that a £7 plastic clock from Boots is used to set my £3K Sub.

Even allowing for any delay from accurist123.com, as long as your watch is set by this medium, then the accuracy can be monitored.

I set my watch at the Meridian Line in Greenwich yesterday, standing at 0 degrees. Can't get more accurate than that! :D
