Icon8 Plastic strap fixable?

I went camping this weekend and wore a Luminox watch. I decided to wear it because how easy it is to see at night. I sprayed Off on me (insect spray) and it left spray marks on the band. Is there a way to fix it or is it just toast?

I have owned two Luminox watches, both the Nave Seal Divers watch, with the rubber strap, series 3001 (they are both about 1.5 years old). The watch itself is great, but let me tell you, the rubber strap SUCKS ! On both watches the rubber strap broke off (in half, due to wear I suppose, but I am also very light on my watches) where the clasp connects. I would just get a bracelet, or another rubber strap for it, as the straps Luminox provides is not durable at all IMO.

Good luck !

I don't think I would try anything stronger than Formula 409 on it. Some rubbers can be destroyed with many of the solvents on the market today..

Actually I had the same thing happen to a Casio several years back with mosquito repellent. I used 000 steel wool to remove the "dots."
