New Rolex ideas for birth of child

My wife and I are expecting our first child. I find this as a good opportunity for a new watch to mark the occasion.

My wife does not want to know the sex until it arrives, but I am torn. My main question is, what watches would commemorate a boy or girl.

If it is a boy, I would prefer something with a blue face. Possibly a 116622 blue face or DJII blue face.

Without getting pink, what are some girl ideas?

Everything I currently have, has a black or grey face.

Please share your thoughts. Thank You!

I figure out what I want and then try to tie it in to the child.

For example: Daytona
BOY: it's a racing watch. All time classic
Girl: Women are wearing bigger watches. Flashy watch with the PCL

See?
Hulk:
BOY: Obvious
GIRL: Green is a flashy color and goes well with anything.

I could go on.

If its a boy, buy yourself a watch. If it's a girl, buy your wife a watch. Makes sense to me.

Congrats

To commemorate the birth of a baby girl, have you considered the Polar Explorer? The white face could be a nice addition to your collection.

Buy yourself and you wife watches to celebrate the first child. If boy, you can give your watch to him and your wife's watch to daughter-in-law, vice verse.

Congrats in advance.

I did consider a Daytona C in white for a girl and black for a boy.

I have tried to buy my wife a nice watch and she has no interest. She'd rather have bigger or more diamonds.

I would buy the wife the 36mm Date Just with the pink floral dial. Take a step back for you and when everything calms down go get what you want.

Focus on being a good parent, not your watch.

New Rolex ideas for birth of child

My wife and I have 2 older children and I am trying to figure out a way to angle for another Rolex. This gives me an idea. If only we weren't both "altered" as they say. Oh well.

I say you should get a gray and red grape OP, just to be prepared for the birth.

Huge congrats. Your life will change forever b
