Still have my 16613 TT Serti sub with slate dial purchased around 2008. Had Rolex service it a few years ago and have worn it maybe 10 times since. I also have my 116710 ceramic GMT purchased around 2010. Probably wont ever get rid of either although i dont wear the TT that much. I have toyed with selling it and getting the green dial green bezel sub but then fall back in love when i wear it.

Yes. Bought my 14060 (used) back in 2000. Wore it every day for many years as my only Rolex. Then TRF happened, and now it's part of a rotation and doesn't see as much daylight. I still love it though.

No regrets yet Clive, it was my one and only until I picked up my Sub C in 2012 and a couple more in the years after I basically never wore it.

Obviously if it had been a gift or passed to me things would have been different but I think I made the right choice and I have the LVC to take my mind off it.

Yes, a Yachtmaster 116622BLSO, BUT I just started my collection April of this year. Second purchase 116710BLNR. Third purchase 216570 white dial. Next on the list is a Daytona C, Deepsea with blue fade dial, and maybe a Hulk, but the prices has to be right.

Still have my first Rolex a 2000 Explorer 2 black dial. Love that watch. Planning on giving it to my son some day.

Should do this thread as a poll. I'd love to see the split.

I doubt I'll ever sell my first Rolex I plan on giving it to my kids.

Yep. My first Rolex is a BOLD move. I chose Milgauss as my first in 2012.
